Pre- Nup

Pre- Nup

Any ideas how I can approach my FH about signing a prenup. I know he will just say ok sure and probably expect it but I still want to be gentle and know that I trust him. It is to protect my parents assets because when they pass those assets will become mine and without a prenup if we god for bid get divorced he will get half those assets that my parents worked so hard for. I know he would never fight me in court and let me have everything as long as he got to see his daughter but my parents want him to sign it and I totally see where they are coming from. I just dont want to hurt his feelings and my parents are not mean people they love FH very much and are the best parents ever. Im stuck in the middle :(

I'm sure he'll understand if you let him know that you want to do it to protect him too. And that if anything should happen you aren't doing this to be totally evil and it would not affect anything with his daughter, etc.
I think it's important - marriage has legal consequences and it's not the prettiest part of it but it's there!

Thanks I talked to him about it and he said he would sign it and saw it coming. He said if we got divorced the only thing he would have half of is the house and why would he take things that he didnt work for and arnt his. I think its more me that is upset and worried about his feelings.
