pre wedding drama-kinda long
It has been quite a week. Part of our plans included renting a small cottage on the East End for the month of July. I was going to relax a bit, make my DIY centerpieces, find a salon and do hair trials, etc.
I actually picked my date based on the fact we were renting this cottage in July.
On 6/30 I found out renovations are behind, and the cottage is not inhabitable. Big bummer.
I went to the internet, found another cottage and ended up with a crazy lady trying to harass me. I actually had to call the police, who were great and really helped.
Oh yes, my veilmaker can't find the right type of Swiss dot tulle, so my veil will look different than I expected.
My RSVP date is July 8, like everyone I'm missing a ton, and have a lot of no's.
Of course this is the same week my groom lost his job.
And I am covered in big red blotches from some sort of allergic reaction.
HELP!
I am not an especially religious person, but I need some good karma, or wedding dust, or prayers.
I know my heart is in the right place, and I still believe we will have a great day, but I am a little shaken up from everything that happened this week.![]()
