Re: **Pre-Wedding Vendor Rating Thread**
I have a few that I can talk about.Hall - Villa Lombardi -
They have been great so far. We just met with Terry who is the wedding planner and she was so nice. She was very helpful and offered great advice. The only bad thing, other than the 2 weddings at a time is they have a lot of restrictions. For example, no mints on the table, no smoke machine, no outside menus, etc. I know that a lot of the restrictions are so they don't get sued if someone gets hurt but it is a little disappointing if you have your heart set on something
Invitations/Favors - Kathy from Follow your Heart -
She is very, very sweet and so helpful. She made suggestions and helped us to pick invitations and favors that I love. Her prices are good too. I loved working with her!
Makeup - Jacqueline Nicole -
She was super-sweet and worked with me and my mom to find colors that we liked and that looked good on us. Also, when I booked, my trial was $25 because I got the airbrushing, otherwise it was free!!
Macy's in Smithaven Mall -
I did not end up getting my dress from them because they didn't carry the dress I ended up buying but they were always wonderful. Their prices were kinda high but the people there were fantastic. I tried on dresses two separate times and FMIL got her dress there. We were really so happy with the customer service there. They were soooo helpful. There were two women in particular that always went above and beyond, of course I don't remember their names, sorry.
Officiant - Dr. Janine Burns -
She has been wonderful so far. We have met a couple of times already to work on our ceremony. Again, she was very helpful in guiding us to finalize a ceremony that we love (can you tell we needed a lot of guidance
)

Ceremony/Reception Stewart ManorFANTASTIC
OMG I have asked them to do all sorts of odd stuff. James hasn't even blinked. He's been so wonderful, so down to earth and realistic.
Dress Macy's Bridal Manhasset
Until I had my first fitting, they were wonderful
They've been icky but they are trying hard to make it up. I have to give them that.
Jewerly Bailey Banks & Biddle - Roosevelt Field (Ron)
Wonderful
They've really come through. Got my mother's and father's gifts there and they've been patient understanding and really helped us fullfill our dreams as far as what we wanted. GRADE A!
Other Vendors
Music by Michael-awesome Site, very useful
Queens Bridal-been very helpful to readjust my packet at a whim's notice.
Gary's Flowers-poor guy, I keep changing my mind, but he's been very patient.
In & Out Travel-I keep adding more stuff or making stuff smaller, they've been sorta easy to work with, but I wish they took better notes and returned calls more often.

I just have to say that I love my photographer, Artie from Artisitc Images. He is so cute and funny. We get along with him so great! He takes amazing pics. He did our E shoot at the Arboretum in Oakdale and they came out so well, I still haven't picked my favorite yet!I also LOVE Bill & Marie from Wild Rose Video....they are awesome!
And, Music by Michael....nothing but great stuff about him! So sweet & caring about the bride & groom!
I am very happy with my choices so far. I need a florist, and I am having a hard time, because I LOVE two people!!!!!

Reception Hall Woodbury Country ClubWonderful so far. I have done the tasting and everything was delicious except the baked clams. Even though they switched banquet managers and didn't tell me until I called, the new BM is just as nice as the first one. Plus I love the grounds and the rooms.
DJ Bravura Entertainment
LOVED them! I spoke with Tony, the owner and he gave off such a great energy. Plus his company was a Woodbury CC recommended vendor. And I know I am getting married, but he was CUTE!
Photography/Video Duet
What can I say? I cried at their video which was amazing and their pictures are such good quality and well taken. Easy to work with even though I am bad with accents and the prices cant be beat!
Bridal Gown Bridal Reflections/Massapequa
Worked with Roseanne and she was wonderful! I loved every second of their service and I didn't find the prices to be bad at all. Every time I have called I have received nothing but the best information and help.
BM dresses RK Bridal
Hmmm the selection and prices are great! If you can get past the feeling of wanting to strangle some of the help. They are like the 'Soup Nazi' from Seinfeld but they are the 'Dressing Room Nazi' instead.
Tiara/Veil Barrons in Tri County
Wonderful service from Yana and her son. Very knowledgeable about what will look right and the prices are absolutely un-beatable!

Re: **Pre-Wedding Vendor Rating Thread**
rehearsal brunch- Sam's of Gedney Way (in White Plains) I was in there a million times before we booked and they were always helpful and never seemed annoyed by my million questionsflowers- LA Blossom- Laurie has been easy to work with. I haven't had to bother her too much, I just decided what I wanted and that was pretty much it. The first time we met she came to meet me and then invited me to her house to pick up my sample CP.
dress- Kleinfelds- my dress came in earlier than promised and my seamstress, Maria, has been awesome
reception hall- The Crescent Beach Club- they're very good about calling me back and answer all of my questions, even if they're not really about my hall
photo/video- Duet- they started off on the wrong foot with me, they were 'out for lunch' for our first appointment, so I had to wait for them to come open the store. I was really annoyed, given I had driven out to LI from Westchester, but I'm glad I stuck it out. Their work speaks for itself and their prices were very competetive.
limo- Royalty- they gave me the best deal because I booked over the phone. I had quotes from about 6 companies and Royalty was the best by a couple hundred dollars.

Re: **Pre-Wedding Vendor Rating Thread**
The Swan ClubI highly recommend them. The gounds are it's major selling point. I pretty much drove them nuts with two changes, first to change to a larger room and then to change my wedding date. My BM, Barbara was always kind, patient and helpful.
LaBlossom
My favorite vendor so far, very easy to work with, great communication. Very Budget friendly, basically she can work with any budget. She also worked with me, so I could keep her when i changed my date.
Oksana
She is no longer my vendor, because I changed my date (Ang&Rich, my wedding twin got her!!
) I highly recommend Oksana, her talent is obvious, sweet & funny personalitly which will be important on the day of your wedding, when your all nervous and crazy..lol And her prices can't be beat!Expressions Wedding and Event Design
I am using Rosalie as my wedding planner, and I have to say she is tied with Laurie as my favorite vendor. She is fun! Has lots of ideas, Loves,Loves her job and it shows! I actually called 4 wedding planners, and Rosalie was by far, the most down to earth, easy to communicate with and most budget friendly. Highly recommend her! I'm also getting my invites from her
DJ's
We are using my FBIL's Best friends, they are great! I will ask him if he wants me to advertise their services and update this thread, but I have to say considering all the prices we were quoted, They gave us a great price, we actually saved a ton!
M&V
Limo's, Great price, great service. They were recommended to me by Rosalie, she has used them many times and has never had a problem.
ETA:
Ebay
I highly recommend them. I got my tiara, my picture frames for the place cards, my cake topper, picture frames for our parents and wedding bubbles. Retail these items would have cost me close to $300, everything including shipping cost me $147. 53
I also found the cookie lady on here (for favors)
Lillian Vernon
I purchased all of my BM's & Reader's gift's from them. All items except one are personalized. Each girl is getting 5 items, plus two items for the readers and two items for my grandmother and aunt. In total I spent $162.00 They have some awesome deals!!
