PreCana

Danielle and I are going to Precana this friday night and saturday all day in west hempstead. I was just wondering if anyone knew if we had to get dressed up? Also do we need to bring anything with us?

We went dressed casually. You really don't have to bring anything; they provided all the materials. You should, however, make sure to bring a pen (or pencil) because they may have you do exercises and such in the workbooks they give you. Other than that, Good luck!!!

If you are going to wear jeans, so will I. FI is coming from work, so he will be in casual Friday-wear.

Same with me. I am wearing green baggy dress pants and a green button down shirt. Im not sure what Danielle is wearing. As for Saturday, I am wearing a fleece. I want to be nice and comfy...

How many couples do you think will be there?

Just another thought - bring some kind of pillow if you're going to sit in metal chairs. I went to an all day Saturday pre-cana and my FH and I wish we had known. Our backs hurt the next day.

All other materials were provided by the couple teaching the class.

Uh Wont we look strange walking in there with pillows?

My back hurts anyway....lol. I sit at a desk all day at work....

You don't have to walk in them at first - LOL
but really see how you feel and you might go to the car during one of your breaks.
And actually they weren't pillows from your bed, but more like seat cushions I guess. Your back may thank you after sitting in chairs from 9-4.

True...Ill just bring my home computer desk, It is sooo comfy.....

As long as we dont have to sit in the uncomfortable chairs that the George Washington Manor has from 9 to 4 I will be happy.
