Does anyone know of any churches on Long Island that do 1 day precana's from 9-5 or something like that? My fiance and I are both extremely busy and we don't know how else to fit it in our schedule besides doing one day. If you FM or just post back the name of the church and the number or where it's located that would be great. TIA :)

Re: precana
Most churches offer this, but you have to ask about it. There is also an additional fee for it in most churches...

Re: precana
I am doing one at a catholic school in Islip...cant remember the name right now. it is a Friday night from 7-10, then all day Saturday from 9-6. I had to call the Rockville Center of Diocese.

Re: precana
My church has a precana weekend retreat...so you can do it in 1 weekend instead of the 6 sessions.
But just to give you an idea, the retreat weekend was $450 I think, while regular precana was only $60 I believe.

Re: precana
unfortunately if you are not getting married in that parish you won't be able to do precana there. we are having our church in westhampton and would love to have done precana at st pats in smithtown where we live but they wouldn't let us seeing that we are not getting married at st pats. (BS, right???) so if you can find a church who will let you- good for you. also, 8 hours is probably not an option- you will probably have to select 2 saturdays... we are doing fri night from 7-10 then sat all day from 9-6. if you register thru the diocese of rockville center you have options, for example all day sat & sun, fri night & sat day, 3 thursdays, etc...
