Pregnancy symptoms.. REPOST from Parenting Board ............

Last week my lower back hurt then it went away, then my side hurt like I was ovulating but I know I ovulated the week before, then I made turkey and it tasted 'gamey' and I am breaking out. I am not trying to get my hopes up, this time we actually timed it for when I ovulated. I am due on Jan 4th, can this be a sign of pregnancy or PMS?

From my experience all I can say is don't overanalyze anything unless you are prepared to accept that they may mean nothing.

I think so far the best thing I read about all these 'symptoms' is the following:

Every month the female body prepares itself to carry a baby and it is only when a fertilized egg is not implanted that our period arrives to get rid of all the bodies preparation.

That made sense to me and has helped me to not overanalyze everything.
I had so many symptoms last month that I just felt like I was going to get a BFP and WHAMMO AF shows.

Baby Dust though!! I hope they are all signs that you get what you are hoping for.

I totally agree, that is why I will not buy any tests until I am late etc. My sister went thru 3 years b4 she got pregnant, they do not know why she did not get pregnant, it was one of those unexplained cases. She is having a baby now. I totally agree. That is why I asked my question here.

Even though I agree that you shouldn't get your hopes up, I have to say that feeling like I was ovulating WAS a sign for me...and as sign I had never heard of before so I didn't recognize it. I was a charter so I KNEW I had ovulated the week before, and I was getting the same mild crampiness that I get during ovulation.

I am recentlly PG and I only had 2 real symptoms that were 'different' than AF symptoms....

1. low consistent cramping 1 week before AF (usually only cramp a day or 2 before)

2. Metallic taste in my mouth.

I would have to say that the cramping definitely was a huge sign to me....
