Pregnant 06'ers

Did any of you have trouble actually believing you were reading a hpt correctly when you found it to be positive????

We will be completely thrilled if we are pregnant, took a test today and it appears to be positive, but I just can't believe it happened so soon!!!!!!!

What did you all think???

TOTALLY didn't believe the first 2!! We were upstate visiting my parents and I figured it was their lights making me read it wrong. I didn't even tell DH because I thought I was nuts. After the 3rd positive in 12 hours, I showed him.

What DPO are you? What test was it on?

I am going to take another test tomorrow morning and see what that one says! (ept test)

The thing is that I just stopped the pill about 2 months ago and I don't really know what my cycle is like! I was expecting AF about 4 days ago, but from what memory I have 10 years ago when I wasn't on the pill, I always had a crazy cycle. SO I am not so ready to believe it just yet... don't want to get my hopes up too high!!!

(but will be sooooo excited if it is true!!!)

I first tested with a 'regular' HPT. Then read that the line can bleed.

I then bought a digital HPT. Peace of mind! It's either 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant'.

I got pregnant the 2nd month trying (& 2nd month off the pill)....the first test I got a slight 2nd line, so I went out & bought a digital...not disputing that! Good luck!!!!!!!

We got pregnant the first month on the first shot, literally! I took about 7, yes 7, tests before I finally believed it. I took 4 of the EPT's and 3 of the digitals.

Apparently, I am still pregnant!!!!!!

It's funny, my conversation with my DH has been a little something like this: 'That looks like a + sign, right?'. THen he says, 'yeah, it looks like a + sign to me'.

It is all very surreal... I thought for sure I would be feeling different or have some early symptoms!

Made an appt with the doctor in a couple weeks!

I took like 6 pregnancy tests (just to be sure)

I was in a sort of denial for a bit. The way I found out is kind of funny. I had taken a HPT and it appeared neg with a VERY faint line to make a plus. I just passed it off as neg. I didn't actually throw the test away, I tucked it back into the box and put it in the back of my sock drawer, dind't want DH or my brother to see it. I know coo-coo!

About 2 weeks later, I looked at the test to throw it away and saw the + was more pronounced. Now, mind you I wasn't late, just curious. I took 4 more, yes 4 more HPTs, all were + or said 'Pregnant'. I told DH, who was very blase about it, we were both hesitant to be too excited, until it was confirmed by blood test and then saw the little sack on the sono.

Defenitely have to agree!!! We were trying..and had been before the wedding and didn't have any luck. I had gotten used to seeing a big fat negative each time I took a test..so much so that when we got the positive..I set myself up for the disappointment of a negative..and when I flipped it over..I STILL didn't believe it. We went out and got another one...and even then..I was in disbelief until I went to the doctor and he confirmed it. It's exciting!!!!

and because of this, i went to the digital right away. no sense in both of us sitting around if a line is there or have one disappear only to take another, etc.....
