Hello, I was wondering if anyone was in the same boat as I. I am getting married in January and will be around 6 months pregnant! Just wondering if there were any other mommy-to-be's planning their wedding also. Another question- does anyone know of a church on long island (preferably Suffolk county) that is fairly cheap? I went to two so far and both wanted $1000+. I think that is rediculous to spend on a 20 minute ceremony. Any ideas?

a girl on the 07 board just posted pics of her in her dress--and she's 5 1/2 months pregnant, marrying in february! (she looks great!)
wish i knew of a place for you to get married---but we had a hard time finding any type of church that wasn't too expensive. we wound up marrying at the hall

I live in suffolk and my church is charging me only $400. The church is nice and new.

Our church - St Brigid's on Post Ave in Westbury is $550 for the church and the music... highly recommend Deacon Frank - he's so down to earth... and married - so no 'holier than thou' attitude...

We used Father Bob & got married at out hall. He was $500.

I was preggo during my wedding planning too! We did our wedding 11 weeks after the baby. It was crazy but fun. Good luck!
