Pregnant BM!

Just found out that my best friend and BM is pregnant! She's do in February my wedding is 4 months later. Dont get me wrong I am so happy for her I love her so much and her 1 year old (she'll be 2 at the wedding) is my flower girl. Im just dont know what to do about the dresses. How can she order one? They will have no idea what size she will be? I cant put that kind of pressure on her to fit into a dress w/ 2 little ones to take care of. Plus I dont think they will cap the alterations for her if they know she's pregnant. What if she decides not to be in it, I would be so heart broken! Any one have a similar situation or any advice????

Re: Pregnant BM!

My sister was pregnant (with her second) and MOH at her friends wedding, there was nothing she could have done. The bride got 2 piece dresses to make it easier for alterations, and my sister just got the dress altered up until the day before the wedding. The bridal store was great to deal with for that. Yeah, it was expensive, but my sister knew how much it meant to the bride to have her in it. This is your day, and your friend (I'm sure) understands that and would never back out on you. I think you need to let her know how impt. it is to you that she still be in it.

That's great news for her. She should just order the dress a few sizes too big and they could just take it in.

One of my bridesmaids was 4 months pregnant and another one had just had a baby 3 months prior. They just ordered their dresses a couple of sizes bigger and then adjusted the dresses as needed with alterations and it worked out great.
