Premarin - Drug Advertising

I am in shock and disgusted after having just seen an ad on TV for the drug Premarin .. a drug designed for menopausal women.

Premarin is made from the urine of pregnant horses .. and their babies are then sent to slaughter while their moms are made pregnant again.

Please, if you or anyone you know takes the drug .. ask your doctor for an alternative!!!!

It's been going on for years!!

This is the first time I've seen the drug advertised on TV though.

The horse industry has been fighting against this cruel act .. organizations have been working hard to save the babies from the slaughter auctions .. NOW THERE IS ADVERTISING OF THIS DRUG!!!

I just felt I needed to go somewhere with a forum .. and get the word out .. as a counter-punch .. no matter how small this might be

SO PLEASE .. EVERYONE .. TRY TO SPREAD THIS WORD!!

I wonder if there has been a flyer posted at the barn where I ride. I will tell my trainer and the owner of the farm and see if they want to post anything there. Best place to start would be with the horse-crazed crowd. We do almost anything to protect our favorite animals.

But, please .. everyone try to tell at least one other person about this!

Spread the word on this horrible act!!

There are other alternatives for menopausal women.
