Has anyone taken or plan to take premarital counseling? If so, how was your experience and who was the counseling done by?
We have to attend premarital counseling sessions through the church we're getting married in. So far it's pretty good. We spent about an hour taking this test that determines what areas of your relationship could cause conflict. Then the next 4 sessions are discussions about how to deal with those problems effectively.
I definately plan on taking pre marital counseling. I don't think it can hurt. If anyone has any info on where to go in suffolk county please let me know. We cannot do it through a church bc we are differrent religions and we are not getting married in a church. Any info would be great!!
