Has anyone tried it or is thinking about trying it before the big day?even if you're not getting married in a church .........Former brides, What are your experiences?
I do think it's a good idea in general, whether you been together for 5+yr or 1yr.....There's always something new to learn about each other and it's a great things for you as a couple to go through before the wedding :)

me and my fiance just finished our precana and foccus...we actually really enjoyed it, it was like counseling...it helps you bring up topics that you wouldn't think to bring up...i think it's a good idea

I keep getting told that even though I'm not getting married in the church I should still do precanna but I don't really see the point. (for us anyway)

I am not getting married in a church but have thought about doing premarital counseling. Idk if we'll actually do it or not, but I think it's a great idea! I'm always open to learning more about each other and work on our relationship :)

morning Halo...
Hubby and i did counceling before we got married- and we are about to Precana for our religious obligations in Feb. Its a very good idea for couples to it, because after all the planning., dress shopping ., purchase of rings..etc Married life kicks in!..lol

me 2!! i dont want to assume we know it all just because my Fh and I been together for 6yrs..like yea 'we got this!' ....

I think premarital marriage counseling is a wonderful idea and more couples getting ready to marry should do it. I think that since we took precana we have better ways of talking out our problems and what not. Marriage is not easy and I think some have the misconception that its going to be like when you are dating.
