I don't normally post personal stuff like this BUT I know there are some girls hoping for a honeymoon baby. I just wanted to let you know you may want to go for a preconception apt with your gyn first. I went for my apt and they did my preconception blood testing. While most women will have no issues. I am not most women . I found out I may need meds but since I went 6 months before the wedding and I would only need to be on meds 3 months before trying. I can still try for a honeymoon baby Just wanted to pass that along and maybe it will spare someone some hearteache. The doc said it could have been ugly if he didn't catch it before hand.

Re: prepaing for honeymoon baby
be sure to tell your doctor about family history. examples: mothers and sisters pregnancy history did they have any losses, and if you have a family history of strokes or DVT good luck at your apt

Re: prepaing for honeymoon baby
My sister developed a clot while preggo. Don't worry the baby is perfect but because of family history my doc ran a blood test and found clotting issues. left untreated and there are sad results but treated

Re: prepaing for honeymoon baby
No more babies for me. My 4 month old Honeymoom is all about the nookie, and NOT worrying about the conception. Great advice though, and lots of luck to you

I don't have a family history really. Both my parents were adopted, besides my mom no one else has had a baby, what test would they run, and can they run all tests

Re: prepaing for honeymoon baby
FH and I discussed this tonight (thanks to LIW ). Looks like we're going to discuss getting preggo on HM when it's closer to the date. I think it has to depend on where we're going to live...Florida or NY.
