Preparing

Are you guys doing anything to prepare for married life? What have you been doing?

For me, I'm trying to learn how to cook. lol I can bake like nobody's business but cooking is a different story.

I've been making a meal once a week (my mom usually cooks). I figure this way I'll have a few recipes under my belt by the time me and FH move in together.

Nothing really except working out who is going to do what. I already cook so thats nothing new.

FH and i have been preparing ourselves financially. We opened a joint bank account and had 'disclosure day' where we sat down in front of the computer and reviewed each other's credit reports.

I've always loved to cook and bake so I don't need to worry about that. I HATE cleaning but FH is going to be the cleaner as long as I keep him full lol. We opened a joint bank acct and we bought a co-op so those are the 2 biggest things we've done in preparing.

FH and I already live together so we pretty much got the routine down.

I am learning how to straighten up my ROOM.. I am a very clean person, but I am messy in a sense that I'll let cloths pile up for days and days until you can't walk on the floor.. I don't know why cause I'm an extremely organized person, I just have this thing with my room.. So I'm learning how to hang things back up when I don't wear them and not leave things around lol

weve been living together for almost a year....but were still trying to share the tv....i dont like what he watches and he hates my shows....lol....

I took a cooking class! Plus I'm going thru my room and starting to throw out stuff so I don't have to move it!

I would loove to cook more! FH and I live together already, so I've been doing a bad job. I'm trying so hard to keep up with the cleaning and everything!!! I don't know what i'm going to do when we have kids!!

How do you do it!?!?!?

We are going to move in together soon, so I am trying to get rid of lots of clutter that I have. Donating old clothes, etc.

Hmm we are basically just saving! FH is a good cook, and the rest im not really worried about, we just need to save up for all the furniture and what not for when we buy a house!

i feel like we're married....cooking cleaning.....sometime we dont even sleep in the same bed haha (i pass out on the couch half the nights doing work)
