'presentation of the bride' part of the ceremony

thats where when you first come down and meet fh, the rabbi, priest, etc. asks, who brings this woman to be wedded to this man, or some version of that.

are you including this? it shows as an optional part. just wanted to see what everyone else was doing?

Never really thought about it. I'll go with whatever the priest wants to do.

Haha my mom and I were talking about the veil and if you wear it forward when does it get pushed back and who does it. I asked is it before or after the exchange of the goat? Me being the goat.

Yes I'm including it - having both parents respond 'we do'

My friend did this at her wedding. Her dad was supposed to answer 'I do' after he walked her down the aisle.

I'm not sure if he's senile or he was drunk or what but he didn't answer. So there was absolute silence for like a few seconds too long so I jumped in and was like 'I do'. and then everyone in the audience started saying 'I do' too and everyone was cracking up. It was very awkward.

I really wanted to have my dad say 'I do' also but now this made me question it.

Not doing this.
I don't like the notion of being 'given' at all.

We don't have that in an armenian wedding, so no we're not doing it...
