You could always do a BP luncheon or 'tea' and give them their gifts there...I've heard that some brides choose to do that

If they are spending the night with you before the wedding, give it to them then!

It is customary to do it at the RD, so anyone that is not a member of the wedding party should understand if they are not getting a gift. But, if it will make you uncomfortable, and you want the private time with your girls TAKE IT!!!

I've been to many weddings where gifts were handed out at the RD. in fact many brides and grooms use that opportunity to introduce their BP to the rest of the crowd and some talked about why they were special to them, etc. etc. i think it's nice....

We are not have a RD....so we are going to give our gifts out before...maybe privately to each.

are you having an actual rehearsal, or just the dinner? maybe you can give them out at the rehearsal? if not, there isnt anythign wrong with giving them their presents infront of everyone, unless you just dont feel comfy doing so. you will have too much going on the day of to find time to give them out then, so maybe you can find a time before the wedding to do so.

We gave gifts at the end of the RD when most of the family was leaving.
