Re: Preserving flowers

That's a great question, I was wondering the same thing. There's also that 'freeze-drying' technique that is supposed to preserve your entire bouquet which sounds nice too, but it may be expensive. There are places all over the internet thatadvertise, but when I go to get the flowers for my wedding I'm going to see if they recommend anyone.

Re: Preserving flowers

If its reasonable it might be worth it to freeze dry the bouquet. I mean you spend enough on it anyway! Why not spend extra and make it last forever! I was just picturing it sitting in a china cabinet for me to show everyone, I think I would do it.

Re: Preserving flowers

I had my friend's bouquet freeze dried. not many places on LI do this anymore. I found a nice place in Vegas. They send you a box and you fedex the bouquet IMMEDIATELY after the wedding. They take it apart, freeze dry the flowers, then rebuild it (perfectly I might add), and they can put it in a box for you, mount it. She has it hanging in her entry way, it's amazing. It was costly though. I forgot how much, but a couple of hundred. It was my wedding gift to her. I can get the name. forum mail me if you want it.
