Preserving my gown

Hi.

I just picked up my dress yesterday. My wedding is next September. The Salesperson told me to protect it from discoloring, I should wrap it in 100% cotton sheets and store it at room temperature in the garment bag with it open 3-4 inches.

Any other ideas, suggestions?

Do not use white tissue paper. You should use blue archieval quality tissue paper.
