i bought this stuff at Michael's that was recommened to me by a friend... and it ******!!! it ruined my bouquet... now all i have is the petals in a bowl, many of them browned.

i have heard that placing it upset down and letting it dry naturally is the best thing. i have also heard hair spray... .but the way my friend raved about this flower preservation kit, made me try it... and ERRH! it didnt' work and acutally the flowers probably would have held up better drying on their own.

I just hung mine upside down, yes it got smaller and the flowers changed color but I still have it If you do a search on preserving flowers there are a couple of ways you can DIY it, I would try this on regular flowers before hand so that you arent upset with the outcome later on.

I have mine in a giant popcorn tin and it's been doused with silica gel pods. When I was home at New Years, it still looked good. The colors had faded of course, but the blooms still held their shape. You can by the gel at Michaels Crafts.

I preserved my daughters using silica gel. I bought 30 pounds of it on ebay and but it into 2 big containers. I then took many pics of the bouquet and then took it apart and placed the flowers on top of some of the gel and then put more over it. In about a month they will be dried. Take them out very carefully and looking at the pics reconstruct your bouquet. I then bought a shadow box at Michaels lined it with fabric put the invitation in it and she has it hung in her living room. The colors will fade a little and white flowers get yellowed but it is a great momento. I am married 28 years and I did mine and it still looks good. Good Luck

It can also be done professionally.
One bride did it, but I cannot remember which one. A bit pricy, but worth it if you want to keep your bo-k looking real.
I just plopped mine in a vase that was tall enough so the flower heads rested on the rim, and it is still in there. My bo-k was all roses with some seeded eucalyptus, both of which dry well.
