Has anyone used a company that does this or planning on doing it. I leave for my honeymoon the very next morning after my wedding and I'm worried my sister who is getting left with all my stuff wont know what to do with it. I'd like to dry them and have them set in a shadow box.

My friend did this herself. Just tell your sister to hang it upside down from a curtain rod. It works great!

Preserving your bouquet
A friend of mine was married two months ago and she said that her mom put all the bouquets in kitty litter to dry out. She said it preserved the color, all the bridesmaids flowers are still hot pink.

Speak to your florist. When I went for my consultation he had samples of these all over so I'm assuming they will make it up for you.

Fully submerged in a bin of cat litter?

I didn't believe my friend when she told me. So I Googled it, of course. It's a real thing.

My friend had hers preserved. She paid A LOT of money for it if I remember correctly. I definitely want to put mine in a shadow box too! I'm happy it seems doable yourself!

I don't know enough about doing it the kitty litter way, but if you do make sure you do Not get the clumping kind or it will be encased in something akin to cement as the clumping kind has clay in it. Keep in mind some litter is Very dusty and might cling to your flowers a bit and make the colors mute a bit.
DH and I bought 2 5lb bags of Dri Splendor Silica Gel at AC Moore and followed the directions given on a youtube video.
Take plenty of pics so you know how to re-assemble the bouquet if that is what you cant to do, or shadow box it, up to all of you. JaimeLin I know you want to shadowbox so it is up to you if you want to take plenty of pics to space the flowers well in the box to emulate the bouquet.
Take flowers from bouquet and cut stem to one inch long. In deep (about show box depth) seal-able container, place some of the Dri Splendor, deep enough to cover the stems, plus a little more. Cover flowers over, making sure some get between the petals and around thoroughly so as not to smoosh the flowers too much, with the rest of the silica gel. Put lid on container and place in a dry place sturdy place for 2 weeks (minimum).
If you want the link to the video, FM me and I will give it to you.
We did this to ours, this week, will see how it comes out in a couple weeks.
