No Pernil, but I had my FH cloved a ham for thanksgiving, he said he was going to go to hell for it. I had to remind him that Jews don't really believe in hell and to keep poking the Jamon/Ham.

Welcome to the boards!! I think all of us have been stressed out lately. There is a phunk going around with stress and weddings.

I am learning alot about the Jewish mother. My MOH got me a book 'BOY VEY! The Shiksa's Guide to Dating Jewish Men' by Kristina Grish and it is not only funny but very helpful!

Welcome to the boards, and trust me I am in the same boat you are!!!

I am puerto rican and catholic originally from Brooklyn, and FH is jewish and from LI. We're trying to incorporate both religions and cultures into our wedding as well!!!

No pernil at passover?

Best place for spanish food by the way is on the corner of Broome and Broadway...this little corner joint called Brisas Del Caribe....I wish I was there now....

I'm a newbie too! However, this week (thanks to all the posts I have read) has been very productive. My favorite judge agreed to perform my ceremony, I booked my reception, put a deposit down on my dress, and I think I found BM dresses. Two of my girls are waaaay out of town, so I sent them links and told them to go try it on. Meeting with 2nd photographer later today. Is anybody tired just reading this???
