Just curious...I am getting married on the south shore in suffolk county. In case it pours (which it won't-right???) are there any places that you can pay or just go inside somewhere to take wedding pictures? TIA

I was just thinking about this too! I think the Vandebilt Mansion in Centerport allows you to take pics, for a small fee of course!

Surprisingly, the Holtsville Ecology Cetner has wonderul indoor places to take pictures. Lots of photographers recommend using them in case it rains!

EAB Plaza in Uniondale across from the Coliseum has an indoor atrium with gardens. I think many people take pictures there.

Talked to a photographer the other day and he recommended the ecology site in holtsville or the Marriot hotel. Said both are very nice

It ended up raining on my wedding day and we ended up at the Holtsville Ecology Center and our pictures came out beautiful!!!

This is what I was going to say. I reserved it for the day of my wedding just in case it rains.
It's free to reserve, and they do it in one hour blocks.
