check out starlight express...do you know what you want included in your package...We got 2 50inch plasma tv's, 3 photo montages they also send a photographer of theirs to take pics at the ceremony to put up at the reception later. Lighting, percussionist, saxophone. Are you interested in getting all those things, or just a basic package?

I'm just interested in find out what everyone paid. We are price comparing, We have a DJ but we are negotiating a price and we don't have any idea where to start. He's very simple. The most we'd be getting are lights.

oh ok well i have all those things so my quote wont help you out.
But honestly if all youre getting is lights, which also depends on which lights you are getting, theres 3, 4, 6, the lower ones should only be a few hundred, and the 6 can be $1000 and up...other than that just for dj and mc, really shouldn't be more than $2000...some places are even alot less than that, but im also giving the higher quotes ive seen some get just for dj and mc, but if that is all you're getting then it should be less than. Then figure out what lighting you are getting and add a few hundred or $1000.
