Can someone give me an idea of what the going rate is for ceremony music? We're not sure what we want. Thanks!

Our ceremony musicians are $300 per hour per musician and I believe it is more expensive than I've seen others on here say they are paying ...

I've seen people from $100 an hour per person to I guess $300 per person (although not until wc0143's post). I have some people on my budget vendor list you can try. Also try www.gigmasters.com.

I found mine through gigmasters.com thanks to Nadine. I am about to book Counterpoint and they gave me a price of $100 per instrument per hour, plus a travel fee. I posted on the vendors board about this also and got a few pretty good qoutes back.

We're paying $4,000 for a 9 peice band, 1 DJ, and they play for the ceremony, cocktail, and reception.

Our ceremony musicians are $200 per musician per hour. It seems to be an average price.

I play for ceremonies, and as long as it's not a very long way to travel, I charge 200 dollars per hour. If I had to travel far, or if it required me buying a lot of music that I don't have and need to spend extra time learning, I charge 300 per hour. That is all pretty standard. HTH.

I am paying $250 for a keyboardist to play for the ceremony and cocktail hour.
