Invites are something I haven't looked into at all yet. We went to a showcase today, I loved one invite and it was $18 each!!!! We thought that is nuts, especially since we need 175-200! I know there is lots of variability here, but I'd love to get an idea of what people spent. So, how much were your invites?

I got mine from Party City - they are
Naturally Ever After - Simply Stated.... (invitationsbydawn.com sells them too, but they are more expensive online)
I got 175 invites with return address printed on the envelope, and 175 response cards with return address printed on envelopes... total was $294...

I think mine were like $3-4 a piece... and they were custom designed! I highly recommend my etsy seller dazzle0604... she can create ANYTHING!!

If you're not looking for anything to fancy and don't mind DIY you should check out formal-invitations.com. I think they start as low as 74 cents an invite and you can order samples.

My invitations are from Carlson Craft. I ordered 200 invites and the total was $500. We looked at the invitations books in a store and found one that we loved. We took down the number and searched online. We found an online retailer that was $250 less.

That was reassuring! I think this is something I want to do in-person rather than online, so i can see how it can get pricey, but still $18, haha!

Mine are $4.16 each, a coworkers friends is doing them for us, and its still a lot less then what I was getting quote on in stores!
