Invites are something I haven't looked into at all yet. We went to a showcase today, I loved one invite and it was $18 each!!!! We thought that is nuts, especially since we need 175-200! I know there is lots of variability here, but I'd love to get an idea of what people spent. So, how much were your invites?
mine were about $4 an invite. $18 per invite in my opinion is a complete waste of money
i think mine came to about $550/130 invites(making it about 4 dollars each). But postage was about $200. Calligraphy was done by michelecalligraphy...and they came out sooo nice, for $1.35 inner and outer envelope BY HAND! She is out of state....but her work is amazing! all in all, with everything said and done...fed ex included ...came out to about $1100.
that is one place we are keeping costs down... I don't plan to spend more that $500... my sisters friends sells carlson craft so we are using her!
Mine are by checkerboard, they are come to $650 for 150 invitations, response cards, with return addresses printed on everything.
I paid 700 for everything for 150 invites with all the response cards, reception cards, and the three types of envelopes and for 75 church pamphlets...I think It was pretty fair price.
Mine are coming out to be about 5-6 per invite and I added extra stuff. I'm using Elite affairs
