Price of tux rental

What's the going rate of a tux rental? We went to men's wearhouse today and it was around $200pp. Is that a good price? I wanted to check out a few more places before we finally place the order.

i went to MW today as well and was quoted $218 for their vera wang label tux, which included shoes, vest, shirt, tie, socks, cufflinks, etc.

Our groomsmen are paying $170. Not positive on the designer, they went to Esquire in Merrick.

We're using MW but they're only $160. Also, in the back of the David's bridal BM catalogs there's a coupon for $40 off each tux rental from MW. HTH!!

Thanks everyone! Yes it was the same price for the ring bearer which I thought was completely insane!!! I feel terrible asking his mom to pay that much so I might split it with her or just have her buy him a suit.

Ours was only $140. We didn't get any designer labels. As for the ring bearer, I had his mom buy a suit at Burlington Coat factory. Much cheaper then renting. Check out dept stores!!

Ours were $150 discounted to $130. We went to Gino's in farmingdale. Highly recommended. They actually let you try on the stuff when you're there.

We went to Feldman Tux in Lynbrook. They also have a store in Merrick.

We haven't looked at tuxes yet but we did get a call from the house tux place and they said that starting rates for basic tuxes were $140. If we had a party of 7 FH will be free and our father's will get half off.

I went to the Tuxedo shop of NY in bayside and groomsmen are paying $185 with tax and it includes, cufflinks, shoes, vest, suspenders, pants, tie and jacket. We don't have a ring bearer but we have a Jr Usher and his price was $135.

Ours were $150 for the guys (it would have been $130 if we didn't have them get the shoes) and DH was free. We went to Esquire in Merrick. My ring bearer purchased a tux at Tri-County for much less money than a rental.
