Price range for Hair & makeup stylist to come to your house
Hi girls! My friend is getting married in October and she got a price quote for $200 for the stylists to come to her house. (Hair stylist $100 and makeup stylist $100) Is this the going rate? Is $100 each alot? Does anyone have recommendations for stylists with a better price?

$50 as long as I guaranteed 6 people ... he needs $300 for the day in order to leave his salon... FM me if you want his info...
this was last summer tho so i dont know if it changed at all... and it might change depending on how far away you are... i only live a few blocks from him...

That is a good price!! Some places I contacted are like $300 for the bride....and $150 for the BM. If that $200 is for the bride then I think that's good

This is pretty much the going rate! I am actually paying more for hair. 150.00 hair / 100.00 M/U at my location. They are 2 different vendors.

OMG, I got quoted, $200 for my hair (plus $85 trial) and $125 for the BM's. And $100 pp for make-up, from a woman I've known for a long time that works at the Ulta in Commack, I asked her if she could do better and she said she usually charges $150pp and that she was giving me a discount already.
Also neither person said anything about discounting for quantity.
I get that you want to look good, so that's why hair & makeup aren't cheap...but that's over $200 a person, I feel bad that my girls would have to pay that, even though I gave them the choice of not doing it, unless they don't wear any at all. And I really can't afford to pay for mine and theirs.

I'm paying the following: Hair $150 bride $95 BM MU $100 bride $75 BM
Trials were $75 each

The $200pp includes makeup and hair for the bride and bridesmaids.
I will definitely let her know this is the going rate for a stylist to come to her house. Its crazy bc salons charge so much less for you to go there and get your hair and makeup done.

That sounds like a great price to me!
ETA: My make-up was $100, but my hair was $40 but I went to my local salon to do it.
