I went will a Bill Levkoff gown, Houseofbrides had it for the lowest price, but I talked to the owner at my bridal shop, and she was able to beat the price. Where did you get your gown? I'd ask the shop what they could do for you & your BM;s

I will deff do that because i really do want to give them the business...they deserve it, they've been wonderful...but i don't want my girls to pay top dollar if they don't have to.

RK bridal...the dress we liked was $256 and through their no frills program it came out to 186. Some people i know who went to rk bridal their dresses even came out to $100 less than the original price. Not to mention that with RK bridal if you bring them proof that on a site it is even less money than it would be through their no frills program they'll match and give taken an additional 5% off

a couple of people said the same thing about RK matching but when i went to ask RK in person they said the quote had to come from a store. in the end, it didnt matter for me anyway, net bride quoted me the lowest price but they could only quote me jim hjelm designs over the phone - not in email so i had no proof to show RK. If I did though, I probably would have went through RK. I love them!

a girl on here brought in prices from a website and got it for lower. But hey you got it for less in the end so doesn't matter

Netbride--you don't need to call, just submit the quote request form on their website and they will email you back with the quote (in writing! better than over the phone!) within like 48 hours I think....I got it really quickly!

I JUST used RK's No Frills/price match with a Netbride.com telephone quote this week to order my Jim Hjelm dresses. I ended getting them for almost $100 less than the highest quote I was given.
All I did was write on the order form the person I spoke to on the phone and the company she was with. I also to be sure included a side letter outlining all that again so there would be no confusion. Looks like someone gave you incorrect info.

Re: price shopping - bm dresses
ok well i tried talking to my bridal store and they wouldn't budge which *****...although i understand why they can't compete with the internet. However, I just called RK and the girl on the phone told me to print out the page with the quote and they will match it and discount 5% just like u girls said. so i suppose I'll have to schedule a girls outing to the city. ETA: although the traveling back n forth will defeat the purpose of the discount...i may just see if the girls can figure out what size they need and i'll go pick them up and they can take them to get altered here on the island. I have 2 girls who could get to RK no problem...but the other 2 it would be an inconvenience and an added expense.

yeah i knew they also took online quotes not just other stores bc others have done it.
My suggestion is if you can go on a weekday do that...on weekdays theres no sign in sheet and its pretty slow...on weekends though you have to put your name on a sign in sheet and you look for dresses on your own while you wait but then its like you gotta wait around until they call your name...i did go yesterday for the jr bridesmaid dress and it we were in and out of there in about an hour so not bad but it was pretty hectic in the store...ALSO you are only allowed 30 mins in the dressing room on weekends...on weekdays you can stay as long as you want
