Hi girls. Forgive me if this information is already out there. I have searched high and low. I've called many of the vendors recommended to me on these pages and they all seem to be giving me the same nonsense: We're closed on Sundays and to have someone come to your hotel room, the price doubles!!! The cheapest quote I've received so far is $150. I wanted to stay under $100 for hair. Does this seem impossible to anyone???? Once you say you're a bride, price jacks up. Starting to **** me off!

Re: Prices for Hair Stylist on Sundays
The place I am going to is open on Sundays. It's a great day to go because they are usually quiet. It's Anthony Cole in Bellmore and the number is 516-221-1840. Good luck!

Re: Prices for Hair Stylist on Sundays
I used Vanity Salon in Merrick on Merrick Ave and it was under $100 for both my Mom and I. Not sure of the woman who did my hair, but it came out great. Check them out if they are in your area. I went to the salon, they did not come to me.

Re: Prices for Hair Stylist on Sundays
Maximus Salon is open on Sundays I think at 10 am if you want to go to the salon. They will open earlier for you, I think, but don't know the cost. They will come to your home if you want, but more expensive. They are in Merrick & Westbury.

Re: Prices for Hair Stylist on Sundays
The place I went to (Salon G) opened up for me at 6am on a Sunday morning. They charged between $65-100 depending on what you or yo bridesmaids wanted (updo or down) for hair and $75 for makeup.
I shopped around and found that for a Sunday morning so early, that was comparable to most places.

Try Kristen at Enchante Salon - they are a vendor on the boards - She's gotten good reviews and she is very reasonable.

Re: Prices for Hair Stylist on Sundays
I am with you on this, I would go to the salon no problem but sunday is a problem and places like maximus are outrageously priced. Fairytale is also booked on my date. What are you looking to pay for hair and makeup combined?

Re: Prices for Hair Stylist on Sundays
does Fairytale do hair and makeup or just one? can she do more than one person? I've got 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and me on Sunday July 6...

Re: Prices for Hair Stylist on Sundays
AlisonMT: fairytales does both hair and makeup. i think she can do multiple people. i didn't bother asking for prices because she's booked on my date.
tarakinspa: do you know how much maximus charges? i called and haven't heard back from them. i was hoping to pay $75 or less on hair. i have already found someone good for makeup. she charges $200 for bride, $75 for bm if you have 4 or more. i can send you her info if you'd like.
