Can you narrow it down a little more...there are ALOT of places on LI. Let's start off maybe with a few questions.

Do you need somewhere for a ceremony?
How far is the furthest east you'd like to be?
On the water/beach or doesn't make a difference?
1 affair at a time or doesn't matter?

Actually I think Karen meant is there a budget you're trying to stay within.

Re: Prices for May 2008

I only got prices for a Saturday night so I'll give you a few recommendations based on the prices I got assuming it will be somewhat cheaper for a Sunday night.

*Sand's (Lido Beach)
Manor East (Massapequa)
Verdi's (Westbury)

*I honestly think this place would be worth every penny. Great food, great package, 1 affair at a time, amazing price.

I was considering Verdi's. have you been there? How is it?

Re: Prices for May 2008

I had my mom's surprise 50th birthday there last year and honestly everyone was talking about the food and how outrageous it was. The selection was so abundant (and that was only for a birthday so for a wedding it would be more). There are no real 'grounds' to take pictures there but it is still pretty. The CH would be downstairs, which reminds me of a little italian villa. I'm not sure which room they'd put you in (there are 3) but they are all nice. They were in the midst of doing slight renovations the middle of last year so I'm not sure what exactly they changed. The food is VERY important and I'd say they were in my top 3 for best food believe it or not.
