Pricing - Umberto's New Hyde Park

Hi Ladies,

I am thinking of having my rehearsal dinner at Umberto's in New Hyde Park, since it's right near my venue. I know they have a private room upstairs, but does anyone have any pricing information for how much it would be for a basic menu plus beer and wine? I called them and they asked us to just come down, but it's a little far from where I live so I was wondering if anyone has some info as well as good/bad experiences?

i went to look there for my rehearsal dinner. I got this pricing in Sept (my RD is on Friday). It was $44 per person, that included wine and beer, and the basic food package - an appetizer, salad, and entree. I dont remember what the exact entree choices were.

We ended up not going with them because it's a friday night in Lent and the person we dealt with would not let us take off the chicken dish and put in an eggplant dish so that we could have the meatless menu. the person also gave us a huge lecture about how it's ok to eat meat on friday and the church didn't know what they were doing when they decided you couldn't eat meat on fridays.

try Piccolo Bussola on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola (not very far from Umberto's). They have a menu that is $34 per person, and it's unlimited wine, a salad of the guests choice, a choice of 4 entrees, and dessert. That was the base package. They have other packages that offer more food and they are very accommodating. They have a private room with a private bathroom. If you want more info, FM me.
