Priest or Deacon who will perform Interfaith ceremony?
My FH is Catholic ; I'm Jewish. We're having an interfaith ceremony. I have the Rabbi, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding a Priest or Deacon. I was engaged previously and did have a priest who was going to perform the ceremony with the rabbi back then. Unfortunately, I no longer have his name or contact info.
Aside from Msgr. Lisante, can anyone give me a referral to a priest or deacon who has agreed to perform your ceremony?

Have you tried yourFH's church? My own parish priest is officiating.

He's not practicing, so he doesn't belong to a parish.

You ALWAYS belong to a parish, whether you practice or not. The parish is designated by where you live. If he wants the marriage to be valid in the church he WILL have to go through a parish to file a disparity of worship form and they will have to get his baptismal certificate from his parish where he grew up. You'll also go to PreCana (which is AWESOME, BTW, by Jewish FH loved it).
I would start with either the parish where he lives or his parents parish/where he grew up and go from there. If the wedding is happenning outside of a church, which I assume it is, you'll also have to get a dispensation for that, but it's all paperwork which the priest or deacon handles.
A lot of the priests who are doing interfaith ceremonies outside of church and without all of this are NOT recognizxed by the Roman Catholic Church. They might be some other sect or have gone off on their own and in that case the marriage might not be considered a valid marriage from a Catholic standpoint.
This might not be important to FH, but I think it's important to consider because it might become important down the line, etc,

He's not concerned about it being recognized by the church. This is his second marriage (first was performed by a judge). It's more that he wants to feel somewhat represented at our ceremony (which I completely understand).

Gotcha.
I think there is this guy Pastor Mike who advertises in the back of magazines, etc.
I would seriously start with the local parish. For the most part, the church is very supportive of interfaith unions, so you shouldn't have a problem finding a priest.
You could also try Msgr Lisante's office. he might have other people he can recommend if he can't do it himself.

Thank you. It's difficult to do a million things at once, so I really appreciate your words :)
