are you supposed to invite the priest to the rd and reception? I didnt think so. But my mom wants me to ask this question.
we r inviting him..but then again fh's mom teaches in the school/church we will be married at so we felt we should..from what i hear they come to rd but refuse the invitation to the wedding
I didn't know about the RD but I thought you were supposed to invite them to the reception, although many probably wouldn't come.
My priest will def be at the RD and reception because hes my brother haha....but I think you are supposed to ask, he prob wont come but I think its just a nice gesture
if u dont feel comfy..dont do it its not required..im sure most feel strange and just assume he/she wont come
JMO opinion but I would definitely invite him. Church we're getting married in is FH's not mine, but I still think it's the right thing to do. I don't know that he'll come - but from what I understand they're much more inclined to go to a RD than the actual reception.
You are supposed to invite them to your reception. Not sure about the rehearsal dinner.
Hmm...My officiant is a judge whom I have not met yet, that was recommended by my RH. I don't know if I should invite him to the RD.
