Has anyone ordered from there. I was planning to make an appointment but not really sure if its a good choice to use my time and go there. Any opinion? How is pricing? Good Service?

Re: Princess Bridal in Farmingdale
I went there for my first experience. I thought they were nice on the phone when I made the appointment, but once i was there, i waited 20 minutes later than my appointment was. then the lady only gave me like 3 dresses to try on then sort of rushed me a bit cause she had another appointment.
I was a bit upset cause she helped another bride and was late 20 minutes with me. she should have given me the 20 min that i lost. i didn't go back. i found my gown at carmella's bridal garden in huntington on jericho tpke. fabulous place. ladies r super nice and helpful.
good luck

That's the impression I get with every bridal salon. For every good thing you hear, you hear some thing bad. Don't know who to go with!! Decisions, decisions!!

Re: Princess Bridal in Farmingdale
I decided not to make the appointment since it has been giving me mixing opinions.
I think this will sum up my feelings: I tried on dresses there and I even found one that I loved....if they told me they would give me the dress for half price I still wouldn't have purchased it there....hope that helps.

Re: Princess Bridal in Farmingdale
Mine was similar to Amstell - They were fairly nice on the phone - my appointment was for 2 on a monday afternoon... I arrived early (I always ake it a point to be early) and there were two women working there and not a single other person bride or other and they kept asking if I had an appointment in which I replied yes 2:00pm - finally they roll their eyes and look at the appointment book and I was right. Then they complain about who has to service me and finally one woman agrees and asks what I had in mind. I told them what I had in mind and that this was my very first experience, they took out three dresses (none that even remotedly fit my description or me they were all size 14) and let me try them on. After the third dress I was told that I could only try three on and then had to decide what I wanted to purchase. They gave me really good prices on the gowns I did not like though. I thanked them for their time and promptly left feeling very dissapointed in my first dress experience, its not like they had brides waiting I was the only person in the store other than my mother. From there I went to Estelles and actually fell in love with my dress!! My mom had decided to cheer me up by taking me to Estelles because she heard they added a wedding section and knew you could try on anything and everything at your leisure - I am so glad I went!!
Good luck!! This is just my experience - sorry its long - but you may have a fabulous experience - everyone is different!! Keep us posted!!

That's where I got my dress. They were actually very nice. Every experience is different, you have to make that judgement call for your self. They were also a lot cheaper then other salons.
