I went there yesterday an the lady was very nice and helpful. THe gowns I tried on were all under 1,000 dollars. I would check it out.

Do a search for this shop on here and on theknot.com LI Board... you'll hear alot of horror stories about the service there. I myself went there to try on gowns and had an okay experience, however I was a bridesmaid in TWO weddings and we got our gowns from there and had HORRIBLE experiences -- mostly with the service and alterations. The gowns themselves were fine, if overpriced. But the service, in my experiences, was deplorable.

Yeah they had a pretty big selection. I think two of the dresses i tried on were around 700. I made an appointment before i went but they weren't busy. I also went to the Bridal Suite of Huntington and a few of the dresses I tried on there were 675 and they were really pretty. I'm going to go back again and try more on.

Yes you should call and make an appointment.... You should tell them your budget when you call though because I am not sure if they carry a big selection within that budget.

I recommend Lidia's in Copiague (they are WONDERFUL) ... sorry, not trying to dissuade you from Princess Bridals or anything, just trying to offer up an alternative since I'm not giving you much good news about them.

I got my gown from Princess Bridals. I think they have the largest selection of any store I've seen. Everything turned out fine, but there were few things about the store that bothered me - I should have done more research before buying there. But, if you just want to try on a lot of gowns and have a big selection, definitely go there (make an appointment first). If you want more details, FM me and I tell you everything - then you can decide if you'd buy from them. I do have to say that the alterations were wonderful!
