Princess Bridlas

I went today with my mom to look for a mother of the bride dress at Princess Bridals in Farmingdale, as my mom was looking for one dress that they said they have.

Well after finding a dress we liked, we inquired about who made the dress, as the tag was cut out of the dress, the sales women stated that she would have to look it up. It appeared strange to me. They told us a name of a company, ofcourse I needed to look the company online and was unable to locate the dress.

I contacted another bridal store whom stated they also had this maker, I explained the dress and my mom and me headed right to this store.

It ends up that they told us the wrong maker.

I would not recommend this shop for anyone.

I bought my dress there and I am so upset now. The tag was ripped out of my dress also and they finally told me who the maker was a month after I put a deposit down. They told me it was a Fermini (or something like that) but I swear it looks exactly like a dress Jasmine makes. I really don't care as long as they ordered me the right dress.!

By law they have to notify you of the maker of the dress.

Next time someone pulls that stunt, let them know that. If you do a search, someone posted the exact law that states this.

Ya know, I've been to that shop, and had exactly the same problem. They refused to tell me who the manufacturer of a dress was. At the time I didn't know the law required that they tell me. Add to that the fact that the dress in question was one I was interested in, but I thought it needed something on the train, since it was completely plain. They said they would call the manufacturer and see if they could order the trim separately to sew it around the base of the hem, and I never heard back from them.
