I have been trying for over an hour to print one envelope and I have not been able to get one....no matter what I have tried it says the size i put in the computer is not what is in the printer.....anyone have any tips when printing envelops in word?

make sure you go into page setup in the document, and in printing preferences go to page size
and change the size of the page in both of those areas

not only do you have to follow word specifications but also printer specs.
Be sure, absolutely that you are loading the paper correctly.
I went into printer options and it only gives me two options A$ and # 10...neither of which my envelope falls under....this is sooo strange as I had no issue printing the outer envelope and that was also a custom size....anything else iA can do...thanks for your help!

I did it through the page setup in word. I entered the dimensions there.

i kind of combined everyones tips and tweaked it to what FINALLY WORKED
I just set up a word document. adjusted the page set up to coincide with my envelopes...but had to leave the orientation set to portrait (tried landscape and it did not work)
I placed the envelopes in the tray 'portrait style vs the way it is marked for envelopes' and it PRINTED!!!!!!! SO HAPPY...thank you!
