I was interested in printing my own photo albums and not getting them from the photographer company, how do photographers feel about this? I am nervous that they wont want to only 'shoot and burn'. I would just want a disc with the high res photos and the rights to print them. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Re: Printing my own wedding albums
I think as long as you have a photographer who is willing to give you a disc with all of your photos and the rights to the photos, this shouldn't be a problem. They would never even have to know if you used the photos to create your own album.

My photographer actually has this as one of the package options. All photos on a disc only.

Re: Printing my own wedding albums
A lot of photographers also do an a la carte (spelling?? lol) menu, where you can pay for a certain amount of coverage time and then add on the extras to create your package. The one we are considering does this, so basic coverage for 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 hours along with a disc with your photos would be a set price. So if you did this, you would be able to use the photo disc to create your own albums.
FM me if you would like info on this photographer, but keep in mind that they still seem pricey to me - although they do professionally edit/retouch the photos.

Park Ave Studios - vendor on here. Has his whole price list on a pdf. You would need to look at the Special package, High res. Cd & edited Images under available options.
