PRINTING ON ENVELOPES PROBLEM HHHHEEELLPP

i used the laser printer (tired 2 different ones) and the the writting is fading after being handled. It obviously has to be the envelope

my dad said to just use the laser, but Mrs - now looks like Mis and im afraid that through the mail the lettering will get even worse and some may be undeliverable

he also mentioned possibly having staples do them... can they?

i dont want to use an ink jet, so what do i do?

I'm planning to do this too, but I was going to order bunch of envelope samples and test laser vs inkject for which ink stays on better.

My inkjet ink, when printed on plain paper runs easily when wet, almost washes off, but on photo or satin paper it stays on really well.

Have you thought about using the big clear labels? I did this with my save the dates and it worked really well, maybe not elegant enough for invites, but I don't know.

Okay, I was also going to print out my envelopes myself but then decided against it. I used inkspun.com and it was well worth it. You e-mail them your list and then send them your envelopes and they will have them back to you in 48 hours. It only costs .39 an envelope. Mine came out gorgeous! FM me if you want!

I had the same problem! HOWEVER, i purchased a laser printer (HP CP1210) from Staples and it worked!!! well worth the $$

If you want, send me a sample envelope and i'll test print on this printer for you
