Is there a computer program where you can print placecards with the name in a nice font? If not, how are you having the names put on? I did not use a calligrapher for my invitations, the company printed by computer so now do I have to hire one for the placecards?

Re: Printing your own placecards
In any word processing computer program there are templates for most AVERY labeling products, you can find the template there, chose any font you want and buy the type of paper you want, Avery carries place card type of preforated cards. Good Luck!

Re: Printing your own placecards
I got mine from staples and the place card company has a web address on the package that you can get the template from. I had to modify it a little, but I was able to make about 150 last night in 3 hours. Not too bad. Easy to use.

There are also a lot of free fonts that you can download from the Internet. If you go to a search engine (Google is my personal favorite) and type 'free fonts' you will get a bunch of sites.

I created my own template...I didn't even think of looking on the mfg website..probaly would have saved time. I am using the Gartner ones from Staples...if you need the template I can email it to you. Send me forum mail with your email address.

Avery sells placecards. Staples, Office Depot, Office Max etc. sells Avery products. They're compatible in MS Word, you can use whatever font, font size you desire and/or center the alignment of the text or add a little picture of you and your Fi.

Re: Printing your own placecards
I just bought plain cardstock, downloaded a script font and printed my own.
A word of advice...make sure you test out the longest name first to see if the font size fits on the placecard.
