Pro-line vs. Video Gold

Any feedback on either of these videoagraphers would be greatly appreciated. My sister used Video Gold and they were excellent yet pricey. Pro-line seemed good and more affordable but I do not know too much about them.

Thanks

Pro-line vs. Video Gold

I haven't used either one, but I do know that the videographer we visited recently explained that you're better off with an independent videographer, rather than a photographer that sub-contracts the video. We weren't aware that this is common practice for photographers. Find out which one actually produces the video, and go from there. Hope this helps!

I have an appointment to see Proline this Saturday. I'll let you know on Monday, what I think...and how their prices are.

Pro-line vs. Video Gold

As a professional we recommend Video Gold daily. The quality of the finished product speaks for itself. The studio maintains the highest level of professionalism but does not bring with it all the baggage of a large studio. Video Gold once again this year been awarded gold at the Wedding Event & Videographers Association convention out in Las Vegas. These awards are given out by fellow videographers so they are not to be taken likely. I cannot speak for Proline as I am not personally aware of their work but I can say that Video Gold is one of the best. The finished products are unique in style and taste as are each individual couple. Good luck with your wedding plans!!

Do you remember which vendor you bid on?

It is a good idea to negotiate a cap if you can because the alterations can get pricey.

There is only one cocktail room. The party that uses the upstairs for the reception gets the cocktail room while the party using the downstairs room for the reception would use the upstairs for the cocktail hour.

Pro-line vs. Video Gold

Does anyone have a website for Video Gold or a phone number? Where are they located? Thanks!

I don't think that they use the entire upstairs room for the cocktail hour. This way they can have most of your tables set up and pushed over to one side and only have to move them into place in time for your reception. I would give them a call and ask them.

Pro-line vs. Video Gold

Hi Nicole,

Video Gold is Joe Leonardi and he is [email protected]. If I can recommend anyone on Long Island to do your wedding video, it would be him. His work is outstanding in the field and you'll have a great time! He has a wonderful sense of humor and it shows in his work.

Best of luck in all of your plans.

Video Gold question for Kathy

Hey Kathy,
We really like Video Gold but are curious if his price is negotiable- If you used him, were you able to get a good deal?

Jenn,

Video Gold question for Kathy

Hi Cley,

I attended a presentation that Joe did at the Wedding and Events Videographers Association Covention this summer in Las Vegas. He showed several of his wedding videos including those that have won WEVA Awards. My recommendation is as a colleague. I do know that he doesn't charge enough for what he does. I don't know if that is negotiable! Regards, Kathy Ritondo

Also, is there ary new Metropolitan bides? I am getting married there on 11/11/00 and was hoping to help you out.

Video Gold question for Kathy

The correct email is [email protected].

You think they would be extra helpful to a family with two brides and two complete bridal parties.
In the long run my neighbors dress did come in on time, as ordered and she looked wonderful.

Video Gold question for Kathy

Thanks Kathy! I just called him and since I'm planning from Texas he's sending me a demo tape! He was very nice! Thanks again!
We are set for Sept 14th 2001. We looked at 5 different places and liked many of them. If John Anthony's has everything you want GO FOR IT. We found out that Sept dates book up fast.

We (or at least I) really wanted a Sat eve. We booked two weeks ago and ended up with a Fri eve, because every reception place we liked was booked for Sat or if the reception place was available the church as booked UGH!!! So we ended up with Friday.
