Please dont take this as rude. I promise I don't mean it that way.
I remember reading two or three different threads on this in the last month +, try doing a search on it.
I just did, there was one on the 06 board but I don't go on that board. Just wondering if anyone here uses it, that's all.

Re: Proactiv?
I used to use it- it improved my skin for about a year, and then stopped working. I'd try it if your acne isn't severe.

Re: Proactiv?
I used it, and it improved my skin for about a year. I stopped using it because it got way too expensive.....Then my skin started to get breakouts again and I found what I am using now.
It is called BP 2.5%. It is excellent. You can only get it online I found it here
I use Cetaphil as a face wash and then I apply the BP gel to my face. Becareful if you use it at night, that it will stain your pillow and sheet. I actually started using it during the day instead, because of this. Also it will dry out your skin, so use a moisturizer on top of it.
Read the information on the site...It was very useful to me.

Hmm. I'm on retin-A also. I don't have terrible acne but I do have awful blackheads. Do you guys know if it would work on that as well?

Check out the websites I included in my above link. The BP gel worked within one week. My skin is so clear now. Scott

Try Biore Pore Strips! I used to have them (before Accutane), and the Biore's pulled a lot of them off my face.

Re: Proactiv?
i used it- and it worked for about 2-3 months. after a short while my skin became used to it and then the product stopped working.
proactiv is something that you have to take a break for every few months or so.

Re: Proactiv?
i love it. Never felt better about my skin.
I am concerned about how drying and harsh it is - i only use it at night, and then a regular gentle face wash in the AM. I feel like it does clear up my skin, but it is not the best for those concerned with anti-aging on the face (don't put it anywhere near your eyes!)
