has anyone tried proactiv? its suppose to be for acne..

I tried it, but was not consistant enough to tell you if it works. A friend of mine swears by it.

I use the cleanser and I am happy with the results. Although my skin wasn't too bad before I started, there is definitely an improvement.

I used it and didn't like it. I think I have sensitive skin though. My face got very red, rough, and itchy. It felt like it worked for the first few days and then that's when it started getting irritating.

I have used 3 kits so far. I cancelled my membership ealry April. Did not work for me at all. I have very sensitive skin. The key is to work everything toghether (don't miss a step) I couldn't even go that because it was sooo harsh on my skin. I tried their gentle formula and I had the same effect with it. I liked the toner that was about it. I just purchased the new Aveeno face wash for acne $7.99. I love Aveeno bar soap and now they just came out with a new acne line including toner, moisturizer etc.. Aveeno definetely makes feel moisturized after I use it. Proactive felt like I was stripping my skin. This is also weird but if I stopped it for one day I felt I got a lot more acne. I guess try one kit and keep the usage consistant see if you like it. I did a Proactive post on this board and I got more negative then positive replies.
