Probably a Dumb Question

Probably a Dumb Question

so i'm confused how it all flows after the ceremony.

i mean, first kiss, clapping, blah blah blah, recessional, bride and groom walk back down the altar out the door.

when and how do guests throw stuff?

do the bride and groom come back in, wait for the guests to leave, then go back out to them waiting with stuff to throw? then how would the receiving line work?

or do you do one or the other?

LOL.... I really don't get it.... somebody please explain this to me.

if you are getting married at a church, people are given things to throw when they walk outside the church after the receiving line. once you are done with the receiving line, you walk outside and everyone throws stuff.

if you are getting married at your RH, it's a little harder to throw things. At my friends wedding last year at her RH, guests were given rose petals when they took their seats before the ceremony and the threw them as the bride and groom walked back down the aisle after the ceremony.

hope that answers your questions!

Once you both walk down you wait with your parents and bridal party and do your 'thank you for comming' this can be with bridal party or just the two of you and your parents after this all your guest will be waiting out side then your bridal party exits then you and fh(this is when bubbles are blown) you then do pic's and then into limos.
