My apologies as this is probably the stupidest question EVER, but....
Do reception halls charge for the bride and groom? I am budgeting how many people my FH and I are paying for and was just wondering if I should include us?

You have to pay for yourselves...and no that isnt a dumb question... I didnt think we had to include ourselves in the final count, but found out that we do

FH & I weren't sure. FH says he isn't paying for anyone who doesn't get a placecard and I said 'well vendors are half price so forget the placecard' to which he said 'I'm not paying for us and I still expect to be fed.' ....where's the emoticon to roll your eyes?

Soooo not a dumb question. My cousin and his wife forgot to include themselves in their head count and had to run to the atm the night of their wedding to pay for their plates.
