I am ordering my dresses from netbride.com....they offer prices as good as houseofbrides.com and they have a great reputation, some brides actually have reviews about them on the brides review board, check them out....and I think they carry alfred angelo...you can email them for a quote before you order...HTH!

I would shop around maybe you find another store with a better price.

I think people have ordered from here but I am the kind that I like to try things on.

Check out Pearl's Place, too. I got my Alfred Angelo BM dresses there for $99. The next lowest local shop quote I got was $150.

I also got a quote from NetBride, although I didn't buy there. The staff there was pretty responsive and the quote was only $7 more than PP.

My mother actually ordered her dress from pearls place, and everything went well...it's sitting in her closet as we speak!

did you try talking to the bridal salon and tell them you were quoted much lower by another shop?
you don't have to tell them exactly who quoted you but you can then say you verified it on netbride or something.

a lot of places will lower their price so they don't lose your business. it's worth the shot.

I agree- also RK Bridal in the city has AA dresses. They arent that expensive.

RK also does a price match no frills program where you can take the price that you found on line and order it through them and they will give you 5% off on top of it. The only thing with that is that they dont do alterations on this program.

Definitely shop around. Just call other stores and tell them the dress style number and get the price + alterations.

Netbride doesn't carry alfred angelo. Did you check out RK Bridal?

Re: Problem w/BM dresses - price

I ordered my bridesmaid dress for my brother's wedding from Houseofbrides.com. I saved a lot of money over boutique prices. Some of the other girls bought it at a salon and paid A LOT more. The dress came in when they said it would and it was in perfect condition. FM me if you need more info. HTH

BTW...We're date twins!!
