Ok Ladies, I need your help... I called my limo company to make a Credit Card payment over the phone and the guy tells me that they would have to charge my 3% if I pay by credit card. I explain to him that I have made 2 payments already with a Credit Card and I was never charged a dime. He puts me on hold and comes back on and tells me you can't pay by credit card and that is states such in my contract. I then go on to tell him that I have my contract right in front of me and it says that I can make credit card payments up to 3 weeks prior to my event and not as a final payment. Now I had all intentions on making my final payment in cash but I didn't want to carry such a large amount of money on me on the day of the event so I decided I would make a payment today so that it won't be a hassle in the future. So now I am waiting on the person who booked my limos to come in so I can speak with him... Now should I make a big deal of this or just pay the balance off in cash the day of???

he probably doesn't know how to run the credit card machine....
I would wait to talk to the person you booked with...he'll probably say that its no big deal and run your card through.

I saw its M&V limos. My dad is their attorney and they have had some problems. Pay with the credit card. I don't trust them with cash to be honest.

Completely agree with the posts about insisting on paying with credit card....You will have some definite proof in case something goes down.....

If they haven't charged you the 3% before, you should insist that they don't now. They should make an exception.

UPDATE: I Spoke with my salesperson and he made the payment 1,2,3... He at first said that I couldnt make the payment but he said they would be able to make an exception for me with no charge... Thanks Ladies
P.S. I could have killed that old man this morning... As Boobobunny said he probably didnt know how to run the card through the machine.. DUH
