Problem with ceremony music............

My church doesn't have an organ they use a keyboard and have a band that plays the music for services.....

so if I don't really like the band that plays or they are too much $$...i have no music. Ill have to use a radio but then I need someone in charge of it to make sure it goes perfectly I am very sad right now.....maybe I can think of someone who plays keyboard and ask them to do it?? Ugh I am sad I forgot all about it!!

What kind of keyboard do they ahve there? I know my FH has a wonderful electric piano that we transported when we sang at a recent wedding. Have you thought about looking for someone else to play there? Maybe contact some local college music departments or high schools even? My FH is a high school music teacher on the Island so if you need some help maybe we can help you find someone. What about a string quartet or something like? If you make out of students, it will be cheaper. (this is our plan!)

the thing is we dont have any more $$ we can put into the wedding we are tapped out! ill have to talk to FH and see............

ooohhhh...sorry, i misunderstood. There's usually a person at the church who's 'in-charge' for the day...maybe that person can hit the play button on the recorder as a worst-case scenario.
