Problem with Leonards - Please Help

Hi, I dont´want to get to into it for now but I´m having an issue with Leonards. I had to book it site unseen so I need help from those of you who have been there. I need to know the min/max of eah of their rooms. I need it for all the rooms I can get. But I also need to make sure to get it for the Empire Room, Continental Room and Holiday Room.

I´m about to have a melt down. I´m really regretting booking a hall site unseen. TIA to anyone that can help!!

Hey Gemma - sorry for what you're going through. While I have never been there, I just wanted to suggest that you cross-post this in the 2009 and 2010 Brides boards - you'll probably get answers more quickly.

I grew up within walking distance of Leonards and it is a beautiful place for a wedding and I know in the end you will not be disappointed and your wedding will be a magical and wonderful day!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't answer your questions, but I wanted to throw that out there for you. Springtime in Great Neck is really lovely, and Leonards is just so gorgeous (and very convenient should any of your guests wants to visit Manhattan while they're in town)! I wish you all the best!

From what i remember i was told the Empire Room held up to 120ppand the Continental Room holds about 150ppl. We were gonna go with the Empire room @ first but i saw the Continental room and i loved it . HTH but don't worry, Leonard's is beautiful inside and out

Thank you all for your help. This info did help me get a clearer understanding. I know that everything will work out fine in the end. I saw the website and a couple of people have told me that they think its nice.

I think I just freaked a little because of the communications issues we´ve been having. Originally I talked to one BM on the phone, my mom went in to see him but he wasn´t there(had to leave) and she had to get the ppwk from a different one. Then I talked to the original one and that´s who we signed with. Then he left(or was asked to leave I´m not sure) and I spoke to someone else who is new and he seemed great but then emailed me that somone else was my BM now and emailed me some info that threw me for a loop because it was different than what we were originally told. I´m sure its all just miscommunication from having so many people involved. I think I´m just going to leave it alone until I get to NY. Its less than a month anyway. Then I´ll deal with them directly.
